Technical Troubleshooting

If you've passed the technical preflight but you're still having problems, here are some solutions to common problems.

Problem Area: Registration | Audio | Video | Connection | MacIntosh

 

Registration

I've already registered but I'm being asked to register again. [ Solution ]

When I try to register I'm told that this is a "closed event." [ Solution ]

 

Audio

I can't hear any audio. [ Solution ]

The audio sounds distorted/fuzzy. [ Solution ]

 

Video

The video looks blocky and is not smooth. [ Solution ]

"Ghosts" appear in the video. [ Solution ]

Video is distorted or will not play. [ Solution ]

 

Connection problems

Nothing happens when I click on "Go to the Event." [ Solution : Turn off any pop-up window blocker software or settings ]

When I try to connect, I receive a message that the webcast isn't currently running. [ Solution ]

I'm stuck on a screen that says "Loading ... please wait." [ Solution ]

I'm receiving a "Cannot Connect" error when I try to play the video/audio. [ Solution ]

I'm receiving a "Connection to server has timed out" error. [ Solution ]

 

Mac Users

I'm using a MacIntosh computer and running into problems. [ Solution ]
