Technical
Help : Firewalls
If the computer you are using is behind a firewall,
you may need to ask your network administrator to open certain
network "ports" in order to receive the audio-video and
java applets.
A firewall is a security device designed to protect
networks from unauthorized access and harmful data (such as viruses)
from
entering. It sits between your computer's network and the internet.
Sometimes firewalls are set up by default to block access to the
ports on your computer that are used to receive java applets and
streaming
media. Our servers target these ports because they are the optimized
for the delivery of streaming media and the continuous connection
required of an online meeting.
Please ask your network administrator to contact
us at info@mchcom.com to determine which ports to open.
