draws on the perspectives and resources of diverse communities and engages
them in health action (e.g., models or methods of effective partnering)

Overview
Each mini team (e.g., mini team #1, mini team #2, mini team #3) identified one to three of the most critical issues (or challenges) in their assigned IOM areas (see workshop session B responses). At the conclusion of session B, all mini team members voted on the combined list of identified issues and identified the top three critical issues for their assigned IOM area. For their assigned critical issue, each mini team identified strategies that are key to improving MCH over the next 5 to 10 years (see workshop session C completed form).
