Marjorie Hogan, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Minnesota, and is Board-certified in Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine. Her areas of interest and expertise include the effect of media on children, media education/media literacy, violence prevention, and child maltreatment. Dr. Hogan chairs the Board of the National Institute on Media and the Family, and is the immediate former Chair of the American Academy of Pediatrics Committee on Communication. Dr. Hogan is the co-chair of the Editorial Board of Health Kids Magazine, and is the author of a number of articles, book chapters, and special learning programs in her areas of expertise.
